Business EXPO will again offer a celebration of region’s commerce

Thousands of attendees will assemble on Thursday, April 16 at the Central Wisconsin Convention + Expo Center in Rothschild for the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce’s Business EXPO. The annual Business EXPO is the largest Chamber tradeshow in the country. Dozens of booths have already been reserved for the event.

Booth spaces at the EXPO are available at an Early Bird rate for Chamber members through the end of this month. The Early Bird rate of $575 for a booth ends on February 13. “The EXPO is our largest event each year,” said Kaycee Packard, programs and events specialist with the Chamber. “It is an exciting day, offering connections between the hundreds of our member exhibitors and the thousands of attendees who drop by. The EXPO is the biggest chamber trade show of its kind in the country and we’re proud to host it right here."

Business EXPO 2026 offers Chamber members an opportunity to build awareness of their business or organization, showcase existing or new products and services, promote employment opportunities and more. Members hosting booths at the EXPO often feature giveaways, contests and samples in their spaces.

Returning to the Business EXPO, the 2026 Small Business of the Year Awards will be announced during a live streamed program. This online broadcast will feature brief interviews with the finalists and the naming of the recipients. The live feed will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 16 and will be available for viewing through the Chamber’s Facebook page. The nomination period for these awards will begin in January.

The EXPO will be followed by a Fun@EXPO networking event at bantr in Rothschild. Fun@EXPO is the region’s largest business networking event of the year, offering a unique opportunity to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones. Food and beverages at the event will be supplied by various Chamber member restaurants, caterers, distributors and breweries. Registration for this event will open soon on WausauChamber.com.
