Chamber launches concierge service for members

The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce has recently partnered with Wendy Furrer and Host: Central Wisconsin to offer an enhanced Community Concierge program customized for Chamber members. The new program, along with the Chamber’s annual relocation guide, is an important talent attraction and retention tool for local businesses.

The Community Concierge program includes a variety of services, including a customized community tour with school visits, monthly check-ins for new employees and their families, relocation assistance, career support for accompanying spouses and partners, and welcome gifts. Review a full menu of offerings in the program here.

"We understand that the talent our local employers seek is not only looking for career opportunities, but also a community where they can envision an exceptional quality of life for themselves and their families," said Furrer. "The ‘perfect fit’ is unique to each, and our area offers a wide range of opportunities.”

The Community Concierge program will help local businesses to connect job candidates and their family to the greater Wausau community. The program will help candidates to feel confident in relocating to, and making a home in, the region.

“I very much enjoy meeting those candidates who are interviewing for positions and those who have been recently hired, learning about their varied interests, and introducing them to a place where they can truly belong," said Furrer.
