September is Chamber of Commerce Month in Wisconsin
The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce is excited to celebrate Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Month. Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce Executives (WCCE) declared September as Chamber of Commerce Month.
“Local chambers lead the charge in community growth and are at the forefront of local business development and connection,” shared Dave Eckmann, President/CEO of the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce and Past Chair of the Wisconsin Chambers of Commerce Executives (WCCE). “Chamber of Commerce Month is a great opportunity to recognize their dedication to our state’s overall success.”
Wisconsin is home to more than 265 local chambers, which strengthen the economy, advocate for businesses large and small, provide resources to professionals and connect local communities.
Gov. Tony Evers, at the request of the WCCE recently proclaimed September as Chamber of Commerce Month in Wisconsin.
The Chamber will host a meeting later this month on its new Health Plan which offers real savings and smarter benefits for small- to mid-sized businesses. The program will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24 at the Chamber’s headquarters in the historic downtown train depot.
