Your Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce is happy to partner with Wendy Furrer and Host: Central Wisconsin in offering an enhanced Community Concierge program customized for Chamber members.
The talent you seek, is looking for a community in which they can envision an exceptional quality of life; a place to live, work, play – and belong. Each candidate is unique. Time spent with a Community Concierge will ensure that your candidate and their family will make the necessary connections to feel confident in relocating to, and making a home in, the Central Wisconsin region.

Customized Community Tour - $250 (+ up to three school visits $350)
You only get one chance to make a first impression! A pre-visit check-in allows us to learn more about your candidate and what is important to them and their family as they consider relocating to our community.
Each candidate is unique, and no tour is the same. A highly customized (two hour) community tour allows the candidate or new hire to learn about the region; explore and connect with clubs, recreation, schools, churches and neighborhoods of interest with a supporting packet of materials. Finally, we will make sure to follow up with the candidate after the visit and welcome further communication should there be any future question or concerns.
New Employee (and family) Community Integration Assistance - $150
A six-month commitment to monthly check-ins, assisting your new hire and family to create community connections and provide resources necessary to establish placemaking.
Relocation Assistance - $200
Provide assistance connecting with realtors, moving companies and general local representation as the candidate makes their plans to relocate.
Accompanying Partner Career Support - $150
Concierge will meet with the accompanying partner to identify career interests and make necessary industry career connections among Chamber partners.
Welcome Gift - $100
Provide your visiting candidate/new hire with a personal Central Wisconsin welcome. A gift basket of local favorites will be delivered to the hotel/home/workplace with a hand-written “Welcome” note on your behalf.
“All of the above, please!” - $600
Allow us to work with and engage your candidate and family to provide the very best community onboarding and immersion experience possible. Includes tour, integration assistance and welcome gift.
