Leadership program launches new session in new space
The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce is again offering a nine-month leadership program, this time in a new event space at the WPS Powerhouse. Transformational Leadership is led by program designer and facilitator Bridget Wenman, President of Perspectives Training and Consulting LLC. The program includes nine sessions totaling more than 70 hours of interactive learning and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
The program builds an arsenal of personal growth strategies for participants, equipping them with the ability to create and inspire change in the participants, their workplaces and the community. Individuals at any level of leadership benefit from a better understanding of their personal leadership style and the impact they have on those around them. Attendees also grow through a renewed understanding of the region’s history, its founders and the impact each participant can have on the generations which will follow.
“Facilitating the Wausau Chamber of Commerce’s Transformational Leadership program is a privilege,” said Wenman. "Watching participants grow in confidence, uncover their unique strengths and create meaningful impact within their organizations and community is incredibly rewarding.”
Wenman, a Wausau native, has more than 20 years of experience coaching executives and their teams, using a wide variety of solutions to help them define their culture, refine their workforce and increase productivity.
“This program is a testament to the power of collective growth, and I am honored to walk alongside these leaders as they take on the challenges of leadership through action and personal accountability, with purpose and resilience,” said Wenman.
