Member Picnic features Cornhole Tournament
The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce's Member Appreciation Picnic presented by The Samuels Group was held on Thursday, September 17 featured the first cornhole tournament on Clarke Island. The eight-team, single elimination event was won by a pair from REI Engineering, Dan Detert and Logan Zoromski. The pair won half of the entry fees collected. The other half will be donated to the Marathon County Historical Society.
The cornhole tournament was sponsored by Midas of Wausau.
The picnic featured food, beverages and desserts, along with music and tours of the WPS Powerhouse property.
