The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce and T Wall Enterprises will partner to host a networking event at the new Foundry on 3rd property in downtown Wausau on Thursday, October 23. The event is complimentary and open to the public, but an RSVP is encouraged. Part of the Chamber’s Fun@5 series, this event will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Foundry on 3rd’s location at 301 Washington Street.

A ribbon cutting will be held at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the opening of the property, followed by remarks by the developer. Tours of the Foundry on 3rd will begin at 5 p.m.

“The Foundry is a development shaped by strong partnerships and a shared commitment to revitalizing the community — it’s a new chapter for this neighborhood,” said Nick Patterson of T Wall Enterprises. “We’re excited to celebrate its opening with those who helped bring it to life.”

The Chamber hosts networking gatherings like this as a way for individuals to build their personal and professional circles.

The Chamber’s volunteer Ambassadors, dressed distinctively in red, will help those who are uncomfortable with approaching people they don’t know. The Ambassadors are experienced in assisting others in building their network.

Attendees are encouraged to park in the ramp to the south of the property or in Lot 9 on 5th Street and Washington Street. Guests can enter the venue from the northeast side of the building along Washington Street.

There is no charge to attend this event, though an RSVP is encouraged. Visit WausauChamber.com to register or to learn more. Attendees must be 21 years old.
