Chamber’s leadership to launch new session in fall 2025

The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce will again offer a nine-month leadership program beginning in September. Transformational Leadership will be led by program designer and facilitator Bridget Wenman, President of Perspectives Training and Consulting LLC. The program will include nine sessions totaling more than 70 hours of interactive learning and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
The program will build an arsenal of personal growth strategies for participants, equipping them with the ability to create and inspire change in the participants, their workplaces and the community. Individuals at any level of leadership will benefit from a better understanding of their personal leadership style and the impact they have on those around them. Attendees will also grow through a renewed understanding of the region’s history, its founders and the impact each participant can have on the generations which will follow.
“This program has been one of the best learning experiences of my professional career,” said Traci Wisz of the Wausau Woodchucks and a graduate of the program. “I not only connected with many other wonderful leaders in the community, but I also developed many skills and tools that I’ve already found useful and will continue to use.”
“Facilitating the Wausau Chamber of Commerce’s Transformational Leadership program is a privilege,” said Wenman. "Watching participants grow in confidence, uncover their unique strengths and create meaningful impact within their organizations and community is incredibly rewarding.”
Wenman, a Wausau native, has more than 20 years of experience coaching executives and their teams, using a wide variety of solutions to help them define their culture, refine their workforce and increase productivity.
“This program is a testament to the power of collective growth, and I am honored to walk alongside these leaders as they take on the challenges of leadership through action and personal accountability, with purpose and resilience,” said Wenman.
A graduation ceremony for this year’s participants will be held on the evening of Tuesday, May 20 at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Rothschild. Guests are invited to register for this event on WausauChamber.com.
