    Job Description
    The Advanced Hardware Solutions Sales Engineer supports the sales process for our imaging sales team for customers who require business software solutions.  Activities of this position include:  building relationships with potential customers, current customers and sales partners, deliver presentations and demonstrations to articulate features and differentiators of all Advanced Hardware Solutions software products, understand a prospect’s needs and architect solutions for them, write proposals and strategize with Imaging Sales Representatives to drive sales, configure/customize demo solutions at customer locations.  Candidates must have presentation, excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and have enterprise software pre-sales experience.
    • Conducts discovery calls and qualify prospects with Imaging Sales Representatives
    • Strategizes with Imaging Sales Representatives to drive sales of Advanced Hardware Solutions offerings including but not limited to PaperCut, uniFLOW, eCopy, HP Security Manager, and EO based Print Security Solutions
    • Drafts and delivers targeted PowerPoint presentations
    • Clearly articulate features and differentiate Advanced Hardware Solutions product offerings to audiences ranging from CO’s to engineers to convince about Solutions technological superiority
    • Develops relationships with prospects, customers, and sales teams
    • Be a team player communicating with colleagues and other department members
    • Improves customer’s business workflow by use of business software offerings
    • Builds rapport and elicit problem details from customers
    • Identifies and learns appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
    • Participates in trade shows, exhibits, open houses, and product demonstrations, promoting EO Johnson’s image and products
    • Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to plan meetings, appointments, weekly schedules, and to update and maintain customer contact information (i.e. addresses, email addresses, meeting notes, etc.)
    • Meets or exceeds assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas/goals
    • Ability to work occasionally during evenings and weekends
    • Other duties as assigned
    • College diploma in the field of computer science or 2 years equivalent work experience
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a pre-sales, technical support, or IT consulting role working with enterprise software solutions
    • University degree in the field of computer science and  2 years equivalent work experience
    • Expertise with data protection software
    • Technical Sales experience
    Preferred Certifications:
    • CompTIA Network+
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Security+
      • Successful experience communicating with IT executives, other line of business owners, and technical staff
      • < >wledge of basic computer hardware, including PC's, printers, MFD’s, laptops, tablets, cell phones,  servers, network switches and infrastructureExperience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 8.1, Server 2008/2012/2016 to current, Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016 to current, Unix/Linux/MacOS
      • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
      • Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
      • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
      • Strong documentation skills
      • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
