The mission of FreMarq Innovations is to reduce a building's energy consumption, which leads to a reduced carbon footprint, lower operating cost, and increased comfort and well-being for its occupants. This is accomplished by a patented framing system for both new construction and retrofit. FreMarq provides a custom system to its customer, which is designed for the building's location, its use, and customer's desires. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Assign, direct, develop, and evaluate staff work.
•Conduct performance reviews and provide continual feedback on both positive and negative performance.
•Conduct interviews, hires new staff and provides employee orientation.
•Develop and recommend procedures and practices.
•Uphold a commitment to the FreMarq company values.
•Encourage and follow all safety standards.
•Promote and support the FreMarq Quality Control program.
•Direct the workload for the individuals within the Engineering Department utilizing detailed plans to accomplish goals.
•Provide engineering and technical support for architects, customers, sales and estimating in the areas of product application and specification interpretation.
•Manage product design for existing and new products from conception through
design and execution.
•Ensure that all engineering documentation is maintained (including die drawings, shop drawings, fabrication / assembly documents and specifications).
•Oversee the development of all new engineering processes.
•Work with the Plant Manager to provide engineering expertise within manufacturing
and as required review and approve product design, fabrication and product assembly
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field or eight (8) years of experience in related industry.
•Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
•Management: ability to think ahead and plan into the future.
•Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a functional level.
•Technical skills in engineering management, quality assurance, and costing.
•Strong customer orientation.
•Proficient in AutoCAD 2004 and higher.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•High performance teams and a strong team player.
•Advanced computer proficiency.
