NAMI (Nat'l Alliance on Mental Illness) Family-to-Family Class is for families, caregivers and friends of individuals with mental illness. The course is designed to facilitate a better understanding of mental illness, increase coping skills, and empower participants to become advocates for their family members. The course consists of 12 two-and-a-half hour sessions. Trained family members teach the course who know what it is like to have a loved one living with mental illness. No religious affiliation. The church is kind enough to allow us to use their space for free so we can keep our costs down.
