Six finalists have been named for the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce's 3rd Annual Manufacturing Excellence Awards. The finalists in the two award categories are:
Small to Medium Manufacturers (1 - 299 Employees):

Congressman Sean Duffy (R)
Representing the 7th Congressional District of Wisconsin
Congressman Duffy will discuss the importance of supporting free enterprise, entrepreneurship and the American workforce in order to sustain a thriving economy. He will also share how recent federal legislative activities have supported these goals.
In addition, a US Chamber of Commerce representative will present Congressman Duffy with the 2018 Spirit of Enterprise Award in recognition of his consistent support for pro-growth policies at the federal level.
Congressman Duffy was born and raised in Hayward, Wisconsin, where he was the tenth of eleven siblings. He worked his way through law school by performing in lumberjack shows and exhibitions across the state of Wisconsin and around the country. After graduating from law school, Duffy practiced law in Hayward before becoming the District Attorney of Ashland County in 2002.
Now in his fourth term representing the 7th Congressional District of Wisconsin, Duffy is a member of the House of Financial Services Committee and serves as Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance.
Duffy and his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, are the proud parents of eight children, and their family lives right here in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Dinner is included in the price of admission. The dinner includes:
- Stuffed chicken breast (lightly breaded, stuffed with wild rice)
- Amber marinated sirloin (marinated for 48 hours, roasted to medium rare)
- Roasted fingerling potatoes with parmesan
- Maple-glazed carrots and sugar snap peas
- Garden salad with dressings
- Tea, coffee, milk and water
Special dietary requests must be submitted at the time of registration. Every attempt will be made to accommodate requests, however, they cannot be guaranteed if they are not submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the event.
