• Women's Leadership Conference

  • National speakers Fawn Germer and Liz Uram headlined the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce’s  Women’s Leadership Conference held on Wednesday, January 17 at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Convention Center in Rothschild. The event, in its fourth year, grew to include more than 450 women from around the region.

The Conference, designed to inspire and encourage women of all ages and career levels, offered an opportunity for women to develop skills for use in both their work and personal lives.

“The day allowed me to quiet my mind, reflect, think outside the box, and refocus on what was important for the year to come.” said Toni Dunwoody, production sales consultant with EO Johnson Business Technologies and member of the event’s planning committee. “Sharing a room with other authentic women and talented keynote speakers left me feeling inspired and revived. Let’s continue to create a culture here in central Wisconsin where we encourage, empower, and learn from one other. I challenge everyone that attended to reach out to at least one person they connected with to keep the momentum going.”
