WAUSAU — Residents of the Wausau region are asked to weigh in on the look of preliminary design concepts for the City of Wausau’s new wayfinding system by participating in a community survey. Feedback will be collected on the proposed design concepts now through Friday, February 12. It is important that the selected sign design encompasses the spirit of Wausau and provides a clear image of what makes Wausau great to residents and visitors, and then helps them easily find these great locations.
Voting on a pair of design concepts began during a public forum earlier this month (view presentations by the America's Best Communities Wausau team and Corbin Design) and will continue through February 12. Voting can be performed in person at Wausau City Hall or at the office of the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce. Voting can also be completed here.
A public forum about the recent efforts to improve the Wausau community image through a new wayfinding system was held on Tuesday, February 2 in the Wausau City Hall Council Chambers. The forum was held as part of the next steps in a community revitalization plan that was developed for Wausau during the America’s Best Communities (ABC) competition.
