    Name: Phonographic Memory
    Date: October 20, 2016
    Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM CDT
    Event Description:
Join us on the third Thursday of each month to share stories, memories and songs from your favorite vinyl records! Phonographic Memory is a San Francisco-based non-profit "dedicated to examining and celebrating the human experience as framed by music through vinyl records." At each monthly session, 4-5 people will bring in a record and spend about 10 minutes sharing a story about a particular song of importance to them from that record, then play the song. All events will be recorded, and stories may be included on the official Phonographic Memory podcast. Anyone wishing to share a song and story must pre-register by calling 715-261-7230, and any type of music is welcome! Spectators are also encouraged to come watch and listen, with no registration required.
